Walton Brown's Election Bid
20 July 2007 | Bermuda Sun
Pollster and commentator Walton Brown is wading into the water as a first-time political candidate.
Mr. Brown, a cousin of Premier Dr. Ewart Brown, is to run for the PLP in Pembroke West, an area currently represented by Jamahl Simmons, the former UBP MP who is now an independent.
Mr. Brown's candidacy was announced at a rally at West Pembroke School yesterday that's been billed as The Main Event and Dr. Brown as the Main Man.
Walton Brown will run against UBP chairman Shawn Crockwell, in an area that Mr. Simmons won by more than 200 votes in 2003. MORE! ยป
