Shocking: Royal Gazette Criticises UBP Policy Position
It's rare that the biased Royal Gazette would ever criticise a policy position of their cherished United Bermuda Party. But, in today's paper, that rarest of rare events actually happened. The Royal Gazette opines:
(The UBP) is wrong to oppose the use of graphic images in advertising and posters as part of the same effort. If Bermuda is to save lives, then it needs to use every means available, and that includes hard hitting posters and public awareness campaigns.
No one is suggesting that it is the only answer and the Road Safety Council and the Government should certainly not think that they are a panacea and that their work is done. But it is also wrong to quibble about details of the campaign when what is needed now is an all-out offensive on all fronts.
Lest you be concerned that The Royal Gazette has turned a new leaf, it's important to note that they began the editorial lauding the UBP.
