Kim Swan's Hypocrisy
When Bob Richards made his deeply offensive Nazi comments, Kim Swan "backed him to the hilt." Yesterday, Kim, in a highly disingenuous speech asked, "How can we come together? We need to move beyond the divisive rhetoric that has dominated the day on too many occasions."
If you want to "move beyond the divisive rhetoric," Mr. Swan, perhaps you can begin by condemning your colleague Bob Richards for making a highly offensive and inappropriate Nazi comparison. Even pro-UBP individuals and institutions like the Royal Gazette and Sir John Swan have argued that Mr. Richards' disgraceful comparison is unfair and wrong. But, Kim, you didn't distance yourself from Mr. Richards' "divisive rhetoric." No Sir. You, according to the Royal Gazette, "backed him to the hilt."
If you're not just another hypocritical UBP politician, I hope you'll join our call for Mr. Richards to resign for rhetoric that wasn't just divisive, but, deeply offensive and insulting to the millions of victims of the Nazi atrocities.
