The refurbished St. George's Police Station is now complete and we accomplished it $350,000 under budget. Thanks to the PLP Government, not only do the people of St. George's now have a refurbished police station, but, we also saved the Bermuda taxpayer $350,000. Minister Derrick Burgess:

The St. George's Police Station has served the East End community well for generations and I am certain that East Enders specifically and the community generally will look with pride upon the exceedingly attractive, completely refreshed building.

Even Opposition Leader Kim Swan credited PLP Minister Derrick Burgess and his team saying:

I must give some credit to the current minister Mr. Burgess... So I'm very grateful this Minister has made sure and seen the project through.

The PLP Government is committed to the safety of all East Enders and we're committed to saving the Bermuda taxpayer money. Both goals were realised with the completion of this project. Once again, it's clear that your PLP Government is getting the job done.
