Bermuda Tourism Staff Restructuring in North America - Update
A meeting with Tourism staff in North America will take place on Monday, July 21st, where employees will be fully briefed on the opportunities available to them as the overseas Tourism team is restructured.
The information presented to staff will include the new structure plan for the North America Tourism Office, the new job titles within that structure and the job opportunities available to staff within the Ministry of Tourism and Transport.
As previously stated, there are 25 posts currently filled overseas. That number will be reduced to 17 posts.
Kenneth Dill, Head of the Civil Service, will lead the delegation meeting with the North America staff along with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Transport Cherie Whitter and Acting Director of Tourism Ian MacIntyre.
It remains the dedicated goal of the Ministry to provide assistance for those seeking jobs with the new sales firm. Additionally, the Ministry remains committed to offering its Bermudian staff alternative job opportunities within the Civil Service.
