As a former Cabinet member and Senator, Mr. Mussenden is well suited to add valuable input in future PLP Governments. As the candidate for Smith's West, Mr. Mussenden strives to tackle a number of local constituency issues. He notes there are a number of traffic and safety related issues in the community; from the need for additional streetlights, traffic signs and speed bumps due to the increased traffic. Ms. Minors, one of the first Progressive Labour Party Government Senators, became a Member of Parliament in the 2003 General Election when she defeated UBP Candidate Allan Marshall by a margin of 123 votes. Mr. Blakeney is the sitting MP for Constituency 13. He has worked tirelessly to effect timely resolutions to his constituency concerns.
